What should i do now?

Test the water, don’t go for a £7000.00 mega site straight away this is a development process. Lets showcase your products properly. Good images, good information and good marketing is the key. You will soon find out if you have a fantastic product, then build on that.

What do I need to start with.

Products.

Get your products in a database, with at least 2 good images, a simple excel file will do. Give each product a unique code to identify them. If you already have a database no problem, we can work with any format of data you can throw at us, were pretty versatile.

A means to accept payment.

If you have an established business with credit card facilities, you should be able to apply for a M.O.T.O account or online merchant account. Once you have this the road is smooth! (ish). For £20.00 per month or so you can use one of the established payment processors , such as SagePay or WorldPay. For this you get massive peace of mind. Secure processing, compliance of all online payment laws and guaranteed payment*

If you don’t currently have credit card facilities speak to your bank to see if you are eligible. Failing that we can go down the route of the likes of PayPal. A good place to start out but when the orders start to roll in , probably time to speak to the bank.!

A means of shipping.

Find a good courier after all they represent you to your customers. Speak to them about what you intend to sell and they will work out a package for you. A good tip is to find one with a depot close by. This way you will be able to take orders later therefore offer a better service. Don`t forget people expect to pay for delivery for an online purchase, but keep it reasonable and fair.

A Website.

We will design your site around your products. A site selling nuts and bolts will function totally differently to a site that sells photographs. With all the above in place we can do the rest. Integrate your shipping and payment choices with your site. There is no feeling quite like receiving your 1st online order.
